Marion Library news
By Pam Wolfanger

This December marks our one-year anniversary in the library. Although we did not officially open our doors for business until January 2, we moved last December.

New adult novels, Janet Evanovich's 'Visions of Sugar Plums' and Jan Karon's 'Esther's Gift,' as well as John Grisham's bestseller, 'Skipping Christmas.' We have a wonderful supply of cookbooks, craft magazines and Ideals. The children's books section is brimming with books, old and new, to entertain and inspire children.

We have had a wonderful response to out Angel Tree so far.

We were not able to offer a pre-school story time this fall. We are planning a pre-Christmas family story time program on Monday, December 16 from 7 p.m. to 7:30. Julie Rinella and her guitar will be on hand December 16, for songs and stories.

We are planning to have a basic computer, e-mail class sometime after the first of the year. Anyone interested in taking part in this class can call the library at 926.4933 to register.
