Vacancy on Sodus Library Board

The terms of three Sodus Free Library Trustees are expiring in February of 2003. Trustees meet monthly and are responsible for policymaking, maintenance, funding and advocacy. Trustee Audrey Ferris has stated her intention to run for reelection; Trustee Rueben Byrd, filling out a vacated term since the October 2002, is running for his first full term. After several years of service, Trustee Polly Bullock has announced her retirement from the Board. Anyone interested in running for a position on the Board of Trustees should call the Sodus Free Library at 483-9292, or drop by at 17 Maple Avenue for more information.

The election to fill these terms will be held at the Sodus Library Association's annual meeting at 7 p.m. on February 6.
