Eureka Grange plans holiday party
Teddy Bears, which are included in the decorations of a tree and the tables, are the main idea for the program which will include songs, games and a short history of the lovable bears. Everyone is asked to bring a teddy bear for display. Other bear items can also be brought. There will be a three dollar gift exchange for those who wish to participate. Santa will make a visit during the evening. All Grangers and friends are invited to this fun filled evening as we celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the teddy bear. Many bears and demonstration dolls have been delivered to a doctor's office in Newark. These items are made by Grange members and donated to doctors and hospitals for children who sick, been in an accident or need an operation. This is an ongoing project headed by Pat VanLare for the Family Activities Committee of Eureka Grange. This project is carried on by many Granges across the state and nation.
