Missing Sodus Gosh, we've had enough snow for the whole season. People with winter hobbies love it. (My winter hobbies are sliding around in the car and drinking cocoa.) Some of the seasonal stress should be subsiding with each task you get done. The cards are sent, the tree is trimmed and, as far as actually being done with shopping, things tend to keep coming up, don't they? You find out the kids need a present for school - more searching and wrapping. That's usually when you've been volunteered for Christmas cookies as well. If one of your Christmas Traditions is to go out to dinner, try one of these places: Cinelli's Country House Restaurant, 6007 Lake Rd., Sodus; Steger Haus Restaurant, 7171 N. Geneva Rd., Sodus Point; Connelly's Cove Restaurant, 7147 Lake Bluff Rd., Wolcott. (Call to make reservations, many people have the same idea. Some places may be seasonal, as well. Santa will be available to visit with the kids at the LW Emporium on Knickerbocker Road in Ontario on Saturday and Sunday through Christmas. Looking for something fun to do on New Year's Eve? There's a New Years Eve Gala at Cutter's Restaurant on 6483 Lake Bluff Rd. in North Rose. The evening is a fundraiser to benefit the Great Sodus Bay Harbor Management Initiative. Enjoy wine tasting, dinner, dancing, game show, balloon drop, champagne toast, dessert bar and more. Call 315.483.6391 for additional information. Some fun stories to read with your family:

Have a wonderful Christmas... (I know how many days are left because my daughter keeps telling me.)
