Williamson Pancake breakfast tickets on sale
The Scholarship Fund was established by Wayne Action for Racial Equality (WARE), a group in which Barber was actively involved. The fund provides scholarships to two Wayne County seniors who have worked toward achieving racial equality and are active in school, church and the community. The breakfast will be held from 7-11 a.m. on January 19. Hotcakes, sausage, coffee or milk, juice and cookies will be served. Tickets are $4.50 and $3 and must be purchased in advance. They are available at the Come-Unity Center on Main Street in Williamson and McDonald's in Williamson or by calling 483.4092.
