Applications ready for county queen, princess

Applications for the Wayne County Fair Queen, Princess and courts are now available at Wayne County high school and middle school offices, Wayne County 4-H Office and through Gerry Dekdebrun, 926.4926. All applications must be returned by March 2.

Wayne County girls ages 12-17 will receive an opportunity to enhance their public speaking and interpersonal skills. All applicants are required to attend the first meeting on March 5 at the United Church of Marion with a parent or guardian.

The pageant will be Friday, April 26 at Marion High School.

Nine winners will reign over the 2002 Wayne County Fair August 12-17 in Palmyra.
