We made it through another snowy and unpredictable week. (Spring isn't really too far away.) Did you have a nice Valentine's Day? It's always cute when the kids bring their Valentines home from school. Sodus School News: Today, at the Primary School, the Second Grade will have their Pajama Party Day. And tonight, from 6 to 8 p.m. is the School Council Dance. Also tonight, the Fairville Fire Hall has their Lenten Fish Supper from 4 p.m. until? Fairville is famous for the fish suppers. Enjoy at least one during the Lenten season. From Sodus, just head south on Route 88. Tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 16) is the Wallington Fire Department Spaghetti Dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. Girl Scouts will head to the Brantling Ski slopes next Friday for Fun Night. You must register and pay by Wed., Feb. 20. If you're not attending the Wayne County Historical Society's Starlight Ball next Saturday (Feb. 23), then mark your calendar to go to the Chicken and Biscuit Dinner at the First Presbyterian Church of Williamson. The fundraising dinner includes, squash, cole slaw, carrots, pickles, beverages and a dessert bar. Don't forget Monday is Presidents' Day. (If you have kids in school, you are already aware that there's no school Feb. 18-22) Are you going on vacation with the family? Many people have told me they are heading for warmer temps and palm trees. Write to me and let me know your plans: I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Enjoy your weekend.
