Happenings Liz DeLyser has returned home following a vacation in Florida. Amy and Cara Thomas presented the ministry of music at the Second Reformed church on February 17. Ken Dykhuizen has returned home following a hospital stay. Judy White and girls, Leah and Bonnie, spent the week with family in Philadelphia. The youth group at the Second Reformed Church is sponsoring a can and bottle drive. The Marion Food Pantry is in need of a refrigerator or funds towards a new one. Please contact John Ballesty at 926.5166. Joan Bornstein and family spent the long weekend with her mother, Mil Leenhouts of Union Street. Folks visiting the Marion Museum on Saturday enjoyed the display of pictures of Marion in earlier days. Many remembrances were discussed and some recorded for posterity. February 26 - 8th Grade Planning Night at 7. February 28, 1924: The WCTU held a White Ribbon Tea at the Baptist Church. Country people were unable to attend due to blocked roads. Essay prize awards were made to Francis Shoales, Florence Beale, Leona Boerman and Min VanGee.
