Pet First Aid course

The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a Pet First Aid Course on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 9 - noon at the Red Cross office on 165 East Union St., Newark.

Pet First Aid for cats and dogs is a nationally recognized course, for which participants receive lifetime certification. The three-hour course includes: how to recognize an emergency; Standard First Aid techniques for your pet; and hands-on CPR practice for cats and small-to-large breeds of dogs.

The course costs $25 and includes a companion book entitled Pet First Aid, Cats and Dogs.
