Missing Sodus
By Melissa White

A week of snowy, cold and icy weather. Did everyone go sledding? (So, now we've had winter... spring should be here soon?).

Speaking of the weather, in Maui the temperatures have been in the high seventies. In Florida, it was supposed to be in the 60's. (We'll take either of those.)

On Saturday, January 12 there will be a Spaghetti Dinner at the Third Methodist Church in Sodus from 5 to 7 p.m.

The Kraft Shack has begun their Wilton Cake Course - every Tuesday January 8, l5, 22 and 29. Learn how easy it is to decorate beautiful cakes.

I've heard that the Rose Lummis will again be cruising Sodus Bay this coming spring. There will be dining cruises, scenic cruises and a brunch cruise. Let me know what you've heard about the Rose taking to the water again.

Please write to me and let me know what fun things are going on in Wayne County

I'll be happy to add all your events, and special dates to the column.

letter in a bottle Have a great week, enjoy the heat wave... it won't last long. Maybe stop in at the libraries, borrow some good movies and pop some popcorn.
