Newark Grange news

Newark Grange will meet January 18 for refreshments at 6:30 to be served by Carol Miller and Fred Whyte. At 7:30, Richard Kelley will be in charge of a program on peppermint. A regular business meeting will follow the program.

On January 4, Hazel and Stanley Herdman treated members to a supper of chicken and biscuits. After supper Carol Bailey, member of the NYS Grange Executive Committee, presented a program about vintage clothing. Included were a 1900 man's suit, an 1899 christening gown, a dressing gown from the 1940s, various shoes and jewelry. She is a member of Eureka Grange in Lyons and historian for the Town of Lyons.

Next Newark Grange meeting will be on February 1.
