Marion Library notes

We are happily settled (well almost) in our new place of business and find ourselves smiling all the time.

Thank you to all the many friends who helped with the huge task of moving nearly 15,000 books, videos, etc. from one location to the other. We could never have done this without all your help.

We also appreciate your patience during the time we were unable to be open.

I want to thank my staff for all their hard work and cooperation as we undertook this monumental task. My deepest gratitude goes to Dan Adriaansen, who went the extra mile in organizing and implementing the move.

Attention Harry Potter fans: Join us in the new library on Monday, January 21, at 2 P.M. for a first ever 'Harry Potter Party.' There will be games, prizes and refreshments. Come dressed as your favorite Harry Potter character.

Pre-School Story Time will begin again Tuesday, February 5 at 9 in the library. Due to low registration, there will not be a Wednesday program this session. Whatever the weather, remember to snuggle up with a good book.

We are open Monday and Wednesday 10-8; Tues., Thurs. and Friday 2-6; Saturday 9-noon.
