Celebrate Dr. King Day in Sodus

The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., celebration will be held in Sodus. The march is scheduled to begin at noon at the Sodus High School on Mill Street. Participants will march from the High School to the Third United Methodist Church, 56 West Main Street, where the service will begin at 1 p.m.

Emcees Herbert Bowman and Janice Comer are expected to conduct a stimulating program with the theme, 'Remembering Our God.'

Keynote speaker will be the Rev. Norvil Goff of Rochester, and the President of the NAACP. Youth and adult MLK Awards will be presented.

Refreshments will be served following the service.
