Starlight Dinner Dance planned

The Wayne County Historical Society cordially invites you to join the fun at their second annual winter gala, the Starlight Dinner Dance. The black-tie optional fundraising dance is to be held February 23, at Burnham's Canalside Restaurant in Newark.

This year's event will feature a sit-down dinner with your choice of prime rib, grilled salmon, or Chicken Cordon Bleu. Dancing to the sounds of Special Blend, a popular Rochester dance band, will follow dinner. New this year is a silent auction, featuring baskets of goodies such as Finger Lakes wines, gift certificates from restaurants around Wayne County, and numerous treats and treasures.

So, dust off your dancing shoes and join friends - old and new, while helping a worthy cause. For tickets or more information, call the Wayne County Historical Society at 946.4943, Tuesday-Friday, 10-4.

The cost is $50 single; $100 couple, or $400 corporate which includes 8 tickets and mention in the evening's program. Don't miss out on this fun event.
