Missing Sodus The weather has felt a bit like spring. (If we could just get through February and March.) Sodus Chamber of Commerce News: The Christmas Festivities went well; the House/Business decorating contest winners were the Moultin Home on Champlin Rd. and the Heluva Good Cheese Store. Prizes and certificates from RG&E and Heluva Good Cheese were awarded. The next Chamber meeting will be a Dessert Meeting only, on February 7 at the WCTA Credit Union starting at 6:30. Sodus School updates: Friday (today) is the D.A.R.E. Program Graduation at the Intermediate School. There will be a Cub Scout and Girl Scout meeting on Monday, January 28 . Cub Scouts will meet Tuesday, January the 29 and Wednesday, Jan. 30. Girl Scouts will meet Thursday, January 31. Birthdays: Happy Birthday to Amanda Dolan and Jim Malone. On Saturday, (Jan. 26) from 4:30 to 8 p.m., the Sodus Bay Sportsmen's Club will be having a Chicken and Biscuit Dinner.
Mark your calendars: there will be an Irish Wake Dinner Theater on March 23. This event will be sponsored by Papa Joe's Restaurant and the Maxwell Creek Inn Bed and Breakfast.
