Souperbowl Sunday at Lyons church

Sunday, February 3 is 'Souperbowl Sunday' at Lyons Presbyterian Church. Everyone is invited to bring a can of soup to worship and/or to make a donation in the soup pots that will be around the sanctuary. The soup and donations will be given to The Lyons Lunch Program and the Lyons Food Pantry, to help alleviate hunger in the community.

The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel will preach her sermon titled: 'Blessed.' The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will also be celebrated. A time of fellowship will follow the service. The choir, under the direction of Mrs. Camille Clark and accompanied by Mrs. Janet Buell, will share special music.

The worship service begins at 10 a.m. and everyone is welcome. The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons is located at 11 Queen Street at the corner of Broad and is handicapped accessible.
