First Aid course offered

The Wayne County Chapter American Red Cross is offering a First Aid Basics course on Monday, Feb. 4 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Red Cross Office, 165 East Union Street, Newark.

This course teaches fundamental principles and skills of First Aid and accident prevention. This training prepares the students to care for most injuries and to meet typical emergencies needs while awaiting the arrival of professional help. This course was revised and uses a new textbook as of December 1.

Class size is limited. Some insurance providers offer discounts. For more information or to register, contact the Red Cross Office at 331.3783.
