Another homeschool class planned

A third overflow class has been scheduled on February 28 from 10:30-noon at the Wayne County Historical Society on 21 Butternut Street.

In this class, designed for home schooled children ages 6-13, students will learn about Mrs. Cooper and the Underground Railroad. Mrs. Cooper and her husband were Quakers who resided in Williamson and actively worked to help runaway slaves find their way to Canada and freedom.

The cost for the class is $2 per student for members and $4 for non-members. Class size is limited and pre- registration is required. For more information, contact the Society at 946.4943, Tuesday-Friday, between 10-4.
