Enjoying the Fourth at the Point

Crowds gathered at the old Sodus Point Lighthouse for old-fashioned Fourth of July family fun.

Visitors enjoyed the annual 'Breakfast on the Bluff' served by the Sodus recreation association;

the Lighthouse 5K footrace;

tours of the Lighthouse Museum and its gift shop;

a Betsy Ross and Uncle Sam look-alike contest

and  afternoon concert on the lawn by the Gap Mangione Big Band.
