Removing blacktop at Perkins Park

The Village of Newark DPW crew was busy at work this week removing the chain link fencing, basketball hoops and blacktop from the Elmwood St. entrance to Perkins Park. Plans are to return the main entrance to that area where it once was, and beautify the inlet area.
