Work continues at Perkins Park

The Village of Newark DPW crew continued work this week removing the blacktop from the Elmwood St. entrance to Perkins Park. The paved area had been, in years past, used as a tennis court, and, more recently, as a basketball court. The chain link fencing was removed last week.

Plans to upgrade the park continue to be made.
