Missing Sodus Another great summer week. Finally, after all the times of everyone else going to New York City and leaving us girls behind, we get to go. I'll bring back lots of pictures. We'll be in Central Park looking at the Bethesda Fountain where they filmed Stuart Little. Betty Steffler will be coming up for the month of August. She will be visiting friends and waiting for the arrival of her new grandchild. Congratulations to Julie. I was able to chat with Betty and Eileen Hooper for a bit the other night... Florida's temperatures were just right. The Old Tyme Country Fair begins today in Sodus. The Patriotic Pet Parade starts at 7 p.m. (Please bring proof your pets have had their vaccinations.) Dogs and other animals of the general size should be on a leash. There will be lots going on all weekend, including a car show at Sodus Firemen's Field on Mill Street. (Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the show begins at noon.) Click here for all the details.
The Williamson Library has a fun way to end their lively summer program: Bart & Kevin's Rock and Roll Reading Concert. It's set for Friday, August 9 at 2 p.m. Bart & Kevin's Rock and Roll Reading is a show 'jamming' to pop music, including the song Splish-Splash I Was Taking A Bath, to complement the NYS Library theme. Don't forget the concert at Sodus Point this weekend. If there any events you'd like to share, please write to me and let me know Enjoy your week, and have fun with your families during this great summer weather.
