County Democrats hold dinner

Howard Relin, Tom Healy and  Mary Jane Healy  

Wayne County Democrats held a fundraising dinner Thursday night at Wayne Hills Country Club in Lyons. The guest speaker was Howard Relin, District Attorney for Monroe County.

He is pictured here flanked by Former Arcadia Supervisor Tom Healy and his wife, Mary Jane. Mary Jane is Vice Chair of the Wayne County Dem. Committee and Tom is now Commissioner of Elections. The Healy's son, Rick, serves as Wayne County District Attorney. He was also present.

During the evening, State Democratic Committee members Nina Johnson (Town of Rose) and Orville Martin (Arcadia), received recognition. Johnson has served on the state committee for 32 years and Martin for 20 years. NYS Comptroller H. Carl McCall, a candidate for Governor, sent a letter to the two, in tribute to their service.

Longtime Arcadia Dems Evelyn and Lloyd Parker were two of the winners of door prizes. They are pictured here displaying their gifts.

Carm Pascarella, the Town of Rose Supervisor, is chairman of the Wayne Democratic Committee; Joyce Krebbeks is Secretary and Joanne Votra serves as Treasurer.
