Rock & Roll at the nursing home Last Wednesday evening, the hot rods rolled in to the Wayne County Nursing Home's backyard. The music cranked up, provided by the 50's band called 'Mixed Emotions.' Staff, friends and volunteers rolled up their blue jeans, wore white dress shirts and poodle skirts. The residents of the home got into the swing of the music and were dancing to the beat. Many of the decorations, such as hub caps, steering wheels, license plates, old car seats and bumper with headlights on the stage were on loan from Juliano's auto. Tom Wahl's restaurant donated paper cars of the fifties to sit on tables. The 4-H lighthouse club served up 'build-your-own ice cream sundaes' to everyone. During the band's break, there was even a Hula Hoop contest. All attendees had great time.
