ARC golf tourney is Monday

Wayne ARC will hold its 20th Annual Golf Tournament at Wayne Hills Country Club, 2250 Gannett Road in Lyons on Monday (June 24). The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Wayne ARC, serves over 1500 individuals annually, ages birth to 100, who are mentally retarded/developmentally disabled. The mission of the organization is to serve persons of all ages with or without special needs and to assist individuals in taking their full, independent, productive place in society through an array of quality individualized services.

Through fundraising efforts such as this tournament, Wayne ARC is able to maintain its commitment to its mission.

The cost of $90 includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, light lunch, snacks and beverages on the course, complimentary gift, group photo, raffle prizes and buffet dinner. Non-golfers may also attend the buffet dinner at a cost of $25 per person.
