Babysitter training course

The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will start the summer off with Babysitter's Training courses.

One is Saturday, June 29 from 9 to 5 pm and the second will be Tuesday, July 2 and Wednesday, July 3 from 9 to 1 at the Park Presbyterian Church in Newark.

Participants will learn basic responsibilities of babysitting, growth and development of children, feeding and changing techniques, how to handle emergency situations, and first aid skills. Students must be at least 11 years of age.
