Canal History at County Museum

The Past, Present, and Future of the Erie Canal will be traced by Peg Churchill in the next History-at-Noon, presented by the Wayne County Historical Society at the Wayne County Old Jail Museum, Butternut St., Lyons.

The presentation will take place Wednesday, June 26, at 12:10 and is free to the public. Participants may bring a lunch.

Coffee and cookies, supplied by Zappia Vending Service and the Society, will be served.

The one remaining Erie Canal Horse Bridge and models of canal boats are also on display in the Wayne County Museum's barn galleries.

The Museum is open Tuesday-Friday, from 10 to 4. 946.4943.
