Raptors visit Newark Manor

Raptors pitcher Andy Hampton is pictured with Derrek Goers, son of an employee at Newark Manor.

Hampton visited the Manor folks along with children from Stephanie Tandle's class from Lincoln School. The children and the residents enjoyed talking baseball, getting autographs and taking pictures.

Hampton is from Baltimore, Maryland, where he attends Towson University. He is majoring in industrial design. His career goal is to be a Computer Aided Draftsman.

When he is not pitching for the Raptors, he is working at Domino's Pizza in Newark. He likes the Newark area and is enjoying his experience here.
