Lyons soup and sharing

On Tuesday, March 5, Grace Episcopal Church of Lyons will host the Lenten Soup and Sharing. The evening starts with soup and bread at 6 p.m.

Following the meal, there will be a program - members of Grace will present the story of Noah. In addition to the program, there will also be a short evening worship, led by the Rev. Gary Sawtelle. The program will conclude by 8.

This is the 4th year of the Lenten Soup and Sharing gatherings that are sponsored by the Inter-Church Council of Lyons. The meal is free, but each person is asked to bring a can of soup as his or her offering. The soup will be given to the Lyons Food Pantry and the Lyons Lunch Program. The meal will be served in the parish house which is on Lawrence Street (Route 14).
