Programs for children at Lyons Library

The Lyons Public Library is offering a program for children. On Thursdays (March 7, 14, 21) at 11 a.m., storyhours for children, ages 2-6, will be held at the library. Stories, games and crafts will be included in the 30- to 45-minute program. Cindy Flaherty is the storyhour leader.

An afterschool craft class for children, ages 6 and up, will be held on Thursday afternoons at 3:30 pm, March 7, 14, and 21. Barbara Bornheimer, program specialist, will teach a simple craft.

Both programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Call the library at 946.9262 for information.
