Newark Middle School Lip Synch Contest

More than 60 Newark students participated in the recent Lip Synch contest at the Middle School.

Placing first were Alyssa Kline, Lindsey Bullock, Joelle Cosentino, Samantha Dodds, and Lacey Clingerman. They sang The Greatest Medley Ever Told (music from Sister Act).

Second place ... Ceci Perricone, Hayley Vair, Martha Facer, Aubrey Bendix, Kristin DiSanto, Kaeleigh Bridgeman, Ashley Fenyn, singing Vacation.

Third-place winners are Eric Stivers, Tom Parcero, Mary Timerson, Colin Johnson, Kelsey Thoms, from Spongebob, Cause I Ripped My Pants.

Best Costumes were by Ethan Minier, Billy Nicholson, Zach Shoemaker, Stephen Johnson, and Dillon Godfrey for Thriller.

Best Interpretation of a Song - Susannah Hallagan, Kari DeWind, and Mary Truini, Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend.
