Student Business award deadline in April

Students from the Newark/Arcadia area are advised that the Newark Chamber of Commerce deadline for accepting applications for their Chuck Craig Future Civic/Business Leader Award is April 15.

Graduating seniors may inquire of their guidance counselors, or the Newark Chamber office (203 West Miller St., Newark) for applications. Any Senior with passing grades who hopes their future lies in the business community of Newark and expects to be involved in the civic responsibilities connected with business, is encouraged to apply.

The student must be a resident of the Newark/Arcadia school tax district, but may attend a school outside of that district.

Applications must be postmarked by Monday, April 15, or hand delivered to the Chamber office. Additional forms are available there.
