Lyons Library events

The monthly meeting of the Lyons Public Library's Board of Trustees will be held Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. at the library, which is located at 67 Canal Street in Lyons. This meeting is open to the general public.

On Wednesday, March 27 at 6:30 p.rn., the Lyons Public Library's book discussion group, Book Chat, will meet to discuss the month's selection, Atticus by Ron Hansen. Theresa Streb is the leader of the group. New members are welcome and are not required to have read the book in order to attend.

The Lyons .Public Library will hold an Easter craft class on Friday, March 29 at 1 p.m. This program is designed for children of all ages. Children will create small puppets that will look like rabbits, etc. using plastic spoons and various craft supplies. Cindy Flaherty will teach the craft. The library provides all supplies. This program is free and registration is not required.
