Newark Legionnaire honored

Charles (Jack) Clevenger was awarded Legionnaire of the Year 2002 at the Newark American Legion Birthday Dinner on March 9. He was honored with this award for his many years of dedication to the Legion, especially his representation of the Legion at many, many funeral services - in all weather - to honor his fallen comrades.

The presentation was made by Ed Mercurio, long-time friend and fellow Legionnaire.
