Mother's Day breakfast in Lyons

Lyons Elks Lodge #869 will sponsor a Mother's Day breakfast on May 12 from 8 to noon at the Lodge, 32 Church St., Lyons.

There will be a buffet menu available. Meals are $4 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and children 5-18. All mothers accompanied by a child and/or spouse will eat for free.

Lyons Elks Lodge also sponsors a Mother of the Year contest through the Lyons Elementary School. Three mothers of children in grades K-2, 3-4 and 5-6 will be honored at this special breakfast.
