Babysitter training in Newark

The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red cross will offer a Babysitter's Training course on Saturday, May 18 from 9 to 5 at St. Michael's School, 320 South Main St., Newark.

Participants will learn basic responsibilities of babysitting, growth and development of children, feeding and changing techniques, how to handle emergency situations, and first aid skills. Students must be at least 11 years of age.

To register, call the American Red Cross at 331.3783. Class size is limited. Register ASAP because the course will fill quickly.
