All-vehicle Dice Run for ARC

On Sunday, June 2 the Roosevelt Children's Center will hold its second annual dice run. The event is open to all types of vehicles and will begin with registration from 10 to noon at 848 Peirson Avenue, Newark.

The ride will end at the VFW, Route 14 South, Lyons. The cost is $10 per person and all proceeds will benefit the children of the Roosevelt Children's Center. Prizes will be awarded for best rolls of the dice as well as door prizes, 50/50 drawing and auctions. Food will be available following the ride.

The Roosevelt Children's Center is presently serving 350 children, primarily from Wayne County. A wide array of services are provided to children with special needs between ages birth to five years and to their families, as well as a pre-school program.

Services include evaluation services, developmental programs, social and emotional development, child and family support and health related programs.
