Fratangelo receives the Coast Guard award
The Operational Award of Merit, an award that recognizes outstanding achievement or service of an operational nature, was presented for their groundbreaking efforts in coordinating with many government agencies and the air station to implement Coast Guard Auxiliary Air Crews performing port security patrols. Auxiliary aircrews have logged over 600 flight hours while augmenting the air stations crews as they ramp up for their mission. Fratangelo, an auxiliary member at Auxiliary Operated Station Sodus Point, says he is humbled by the experience, which is the highlight of his USCG Auxiliary career. Congratulations Bob. Semper Paratus.
