Book Week at Marion Library Marion Public Library will be celebrating National Children's Book Week, November 18-22. They invite children of all ages to join in this celebration of books and children. There will be programs, crafts, prizes and snacks. Today (Monday, November 18), there will be a special story time program from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Join Joy Frizelle as she entertains with an Eric Carle story. November 19, there will be a gift for each child who comes into the library. On Wednesday, there will be a special craft program for children of all ages from 3 until 5 p.m. It is not necessary to register for this program. Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m., Mrs. Wolfanger will be telling several stories in the new Merna Mason Children's Reading Room. This children's room, given by the Mason Family, will allow the opportunity of conducting children's programs while the library is open. The room will also be used for tutoring. Friday includes treats for all children who come in the library. Starting November 18, the Angel Tree will be up in the library. You may pick an Angel from the tree.
