Clyde Chamber holiday lights contest

The Clyde Chamber of Commerce has finalized plans for the Lighting Contest sponsored by the Chamber, Key Bank and NYSEG.

Everyone has been advised to 'Catch The Spirit' of the holidays with business and residential Lighting Contest structured community wide.

This holiday season, capture the beauty and charm of the season by decorating your business or home with holiday trimmings and lights, you could win one of the prizes listed below.

The Clyde Chamber encourages merchants and residents to take part by showing your pride in your community.

For homes in Clyde:

lst Prize - $l00 credit on your NYSEG electric account.

2nd Prize - $50 credit on your NYSEG electric account.

3rd Prize - $50 credit on your NYSEG electric account.

Clyde businesses:

lst Prize - $100, Key Bank Savings Bond

2nd Prize - $75, Key Bank Savings Bond

3rd Prize - $50, Key Bank Savings Bond

Judges for the contest will be Al Baris, Bertha Canolesio and Eleanor Pulvino. Judging will take place Dec. 22 for the entire village.

On November 24, the Village began their annual lighting display. 5000 miniature lights are in working order for display. The Park Gazebo decorations were handled by Ericka Rice and Sylvia DiSanto. Four park scenes are displayed by the Village maintenance men. Pam Gabbard and Girl Scouts with Boy Scouts have displayed and decorated the Christmas tree in the Park Gazebo.
