Child seat inspection in Williamson

The Sheriff's Dept. and Wayne Co. Public Health child passenger seat inspection is planned at Williamson Fire Dept. on Dec. 5, from 5-8 p.m.

Bring the child with you. The National Highway Traffic Safety Committee recommends that children under 57 inches tall be in a booster seat. The Sheriff's Office will be giving away booster seats.

Child seat inspections are made possible through donations from fire departments, United Way, Ford Motor Corp. and state grants.
