Lyons PTSA will meet

Lyons PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association) is offering you an opportunity for involvement in public school education.

As the group begins its second year at Lyons Middle/High School, the Parent, Teacher, Student Association is expanding to include community members and college students. This organization is ready to get involved in the education of younger community members - the students.

The PTSA offers parents and others a vehicle to express concerns, offer ideas, and lend a hand in organizing activities and programs to benefit the entire community. Public School is a choice. Have your voice heard.

Co-presidents Cindy Quagliata and Sharon Tibali will accept new members at the meeting Tuesday, October 8, in the Middle/High School library. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end by 6:45. Anyone involved with Middle/High school students, grades 6-12 is welcome to join.

Membership dues are $5 for adults, $3 for students. With membership, you will be added to an e-mail list to keep you up to date. With your membership, PTSA will be able to purchase the necessary insurance to hold events. Don't let other commitments prevent you from becoming a member. Call 946.5532 for further information.
