This Saturday at Lyons Market

Lyons Farmers' Market - October 19 will be a trip back in time as Sharon Lubitow of the Wayne County Historical Society guides you around the Lyons Village Park and downtown, to point out some of the historic sites. The tour begins at 9 a.m.

The Market's final day is October 26, when the Steps of Faith Dance Studio will perform from 9 to 10 a.m. A Halloween Costume Contest begins at 10 a.m. with public judging. Prizes will be awarded to both children and adults and are provided by the Lyons National Bank.

Stock up on your favorite fall produce, pumpkins, Amish baked goods, crafts and mums. Don't forget to use up your WIC coupons by the end of the month. The Market opens from 7:30 to 11 Saturday mornings.

It's great to support your local community groups, farmers, bakers and crafters.
