Rotterdam chorale plans Marion concert

The Rotterdam Church Chorale will give a 7:30 p.m. concert performance this Saturday (October 19) at Marion High School on Warner Road (off Rt. 21) at 7:30 p.m.

The choir is directed by Everhard Zwart. There are 90 singers from six different choirs from the greater Rotterdam area. They will perform a variety of Dutch and American sacred music.

Organized in 1996, the choir is making its second tour of North America. On their first tour in 1997, the choir traveled to California and gave five concerts, plus a special performance at the Crystal Cathedral.

This year's tour will include visits to New York, Massachusetts, Ontario, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois.
