Antique Show in Williamson this weekend

The Wayne County Antique Dealers Association's 24th Annual Harvest Show and Sale will be October 26 and 27 at Williamson High School.

The sale, which is co-sponsored by the Williamson High School Class of 2004, will be open from 10 to 5 Saturday, and 10 to 4 Sunday. Fifty quality dealers will be exhibiting.

Antique appraiser Edward Cornwell will be available on Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m. to provide verbal appraisals for the fee of $4 per item. Customers are asked to limit their items for appraisal to 2 per person.

Among the wide variety of antiques and collectibles to be offered are: furniture, primitives, clocks, lamps, glass, bottles, china, porcelains, pottery, country accessories, toys, dolls, tools, wooden, tin and granite wares, kitchenware, jewelry, textiles, quilts, vintage clothing and accessories, textiles, advertising items, paper ephemera, and books.

Refreshments available, by the Senior Class, with proceeds to finance class activities. Donation is $3; no charge for those under 18, with a parent.
