Hummels mark 25 years

The Rev. Cynthia Huling Hummel and Jon Hummel of Lyons celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on October 27.

Following the worship service, they gathered with friends in the Social Hall of The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons for cake and punch. The Rev. Hummel is the Pastor at the church.

The Hummels were married in Kingston, Jamaica in 1977. They met in Jamaica while serving as Peace Corps Volunteers. Cynthia was a Special Education teacher and Jon, an automotive technician. Jon. Hummel is currently a computer technician at Gould Pumps in Seneca Falls.

Their daughter Emilie, 20, is studying at the University of Pecs in Hungary. Their son, Bill is a senior at Lyons High School.
