Sodus volunteers honored An old-fashioned, dish-to-pass picnic was held last Friday night to honor the many volunteers who serve the Sodus Bay Historical Society. The event was hosted by society members Gene and Fay Kruse, at their home on Sill Road, South Shore. All areas of volunteer opportunity at the Lighthouse were represented at the get-together, including the Sunday food line, museum docents and gift shop workers, as well as the garden committee. Entertainment was provided by Mary Smith and Beth Palmer (pictured).
