D.A.R. plans meeting

The Col. Wm. Prescott Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet Wednesday, September 18, at the Chapter House, 119 High Street, Newark.

The Board meets at 10:15 a.m. with the regular business meeting at 11, luncheon at noon, and the program at 1 p.m.

The program features 'Sign With the Signers,' a dramatization written by Christine Robarge, inspired by the signing of the Constitution of the United States of America.

The program this month also features Sylvia Harding, who will narrate the colorful and informative slides she took during her tour of Scandinavia.

The hostesses for September are: Helen Walker of Phelps; Nancy Patrick of Wolcott; Elaine Lannan of Newark; and Shirley Finewood of Newark .
