Happenings Thanks - to those who helped to ready the new room a the Marion Museum, in time for the Heritage Festival tomorrow. The rooms will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please stop by. One of the things you won't want to miss is the Chicken BBQ being sponsored by the Marion Legion Baseball team. Servings start at 11 a.m. Proceeds help to cover the expense of paying the officials at the Marion home games. The Sweet 'N' Treat Booth, at the United Church, will be out in front of their church. The Women's Guild Evening Circle meeting, at the United Church, will be held on September 25 at the home of Sue White at 7:30 p.m. Steve Matteson has returned home following a stay at the Strong Memorial Hospital. I love to try new recipes. Well, this past week I thought I had made a rhubarb pie, only to realize as I was putting on the top crust that I had used a bag of cut-up celery.
