Scarecrow Contest at Apple Shed

The Apple Shed presents the 3rd Annual Apple Shed Scarecrow Convention and Contest.

Contest categories are: community group or club, children (age 12 and under with no physical adult supervision other than setup), adults and schools. The individual categories will be judged and prizes awarded. Special awards include the best themed scarecrow (the 2002 theme is weddings), scariest and funniest. Category winners can win cash prizes from $50 to $250!

Entry forms must be received by 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, and judging will take place at 1 p.m. All scarecrows will be displayed from September 28 through October 31, 2002.

There is no entry fee and the contest is open to everyone, limit one per person.
